Service Description

Aradia or The Gospel of the Witches was a compendium of Italian folklore published by Charles Leland in 1899. It includes a story where the goddess Diana sent her daughter Aradia to earth to teach the people witchcraft - in order to free them. The #WeAreAradia movement takes inspiration from this folklore with a focus on the question, "As Witches, what can we do to aid our community?" Being a Witch by its very nature is a political and revolutionary stance. In this lecture, we will explore magical activism to aid ourselves, our community, and the world around us. Space is limited, so pre-registration is required for the event. Refreshments and time to socialize will follow the lecture. By registering for this event you agree to the following: Inclusivity Statement: By entering this space, you agree to participate in creating a safe community experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We will not tolerate any form of harassment, hate speech, violation of bodily consent, or anti-Witch propaganda – any attendees found to be engaging in such behavior shall be asked to leave immediately. Donation -$10 Scholarships are available. Please email keyandserpent@gmail.com to request one.
