Weaving Words May our words breathe and weave… May the threads and tendrils of myth sneak their way into our storied souls And may Imagination ignite our hearts and illuminate the winding paths and crooked cracks… Onward and upward and downward and inward seeking sanctuary and sublime uncertainty May we journey together in some transformative collective curiosity… Writers, Seekers, Poets, Listeners, Storytellers, Others! This is an invitation to gather and share words; ideas; poetry; musings; tales of old—longing to be tended, unfettered, and threaded into new; anything to do with story and the tell. Weaving Words will take place every other month. Each gathering will be centered around a theme sparked by the seasons/the muses/the unseen forces guiding our wayward wanderings/the essence and aliveness of the stories themselves (and/or some beautifully messy amalgamation thereof). *In reverence to the tricky shifting nature of the story and how we might be storied, we invite fluid interpretations of the theme and prompts for each session. March 8, 2025: SHIFTING THRESHOLDS | TILLING TIDES …A THAWING As the days grow longer and we traverse this time/space of seasonal transition… What is stirring beneath the thawing wintry blankets of frost? How might the frigid be dancing with the melting? Do you hear the quiet and impending shifts…the dreams of stillness into seedlings? Is there a longing to linger in the darkness? A hurried yearning to pierce the icy veil towards the sun? What are you seeking/what is seeking you…in the unseen in between? May the muses move you to join the circle by the fire of us! Registration is required. Please indicate if you will have something on deck to share/read/tell in the “Add Your Message” field during registration (6 minutes maximum). Not sure? Coming to listen? Are you on the fence whilst holding potential words within? –all of that is most welcome! There will be time allotted in our ‘fire’ for flow and impromptu offerings of words, reflection, and seeds of story… should anything bubble up!
